I can’t believe it has only been a year since I made my MommyCon debut! The Badass Breastfeeder has grown by leaps and bounds since the day I hobbled atop shaky legs to the front of a room full of like-minded Mamas to talk about nursing in public. I promised that room full of Moms an army of the world’s most powerful and important people. This army has grown more than 5 fold since that day and we are as serious, passionate and strong as ever. Today we celebrate Clear Things Up Day here at The Badass Breastfeeder Facebook Page. I will be addressing misinformation about this page all day! Yay!
1. We can support, promote, celebrate and love breastfeeding without bashing formula or formula feeding mothers. As Brad Pitt once said (yes, I am about to quote Brad Pitt) “Why is that whenever I say something good about Angelina it means I am saying something bad about Jennifer?” Good point Brad! We love breastfeeding. That is not a statement that reflects our feelings about formula or formula feeding mothers in the least.
