[Read more…]This is one of the early co-sleeping setups we had. It’s funny how fancy and clean it looks. Totally a posed photo. (There is bungee cord underneath connecting the bed to the crib so that there wouldn’t be a gap).
Jack asked me, “Mommy, is everyone born with something that they are really good at?”
“Well, sure. I guess. Probably more than one thing.”
[Read more…]Sometimes people truly do not understand what we do all day. The house is a mess, we haven’t gotten dressed, we haven’t eaten and items on the to-do list are unmarked. People think we’re on vacation because we are not at a job or running errands or cleaning. They think we are eating Bonbons while watching soap operas (OK, maybe we are but only because we can’t get up.)

The majority of new moms return to work after having a baby—only 34% decide not to return to work, and as many as 1/4 of moms return to work within 2 weeks of having a baby.
